Why Kids Love These Cursive Alphabet Worksheets
Cursive is usually introduced in 2nd or 3rd grade. These worksheets use classic school-style cursive on primary-ruled lines (top line, dashed midline and baseline) so kids learn letter height and slant from the start.
Fun Ways to Use These Printables
- Practise 2-3 letters a day rather than the whole alphabet at once.
- Say the letter strokes out loud: up, loop, down, curve.
- Start with lowercase letters, then move to capitals.
- Finish each session by writing your name in cursive.
Printing Tips
- Print on regular US Letter or A4 paper, "Fit to page".
- Use a pencil first so mistakes are easy to erase.
- Laminate or slip into a sheet protector and use a dry-erase marker to reuse.
- Great for early finishers, quiet time and travel.
Age range: Ages 7-10 (2nd-4th grade), or anyone learning cursive.
