How to Use These Earth Day Coloring Pages
- Color the Earth with blue oceans and green land.
- Pick one page and match it to a real action (plant, water, recycle).
- Ask kids to write one way they will help the Earth at the bottom of the page.
- Display the pages together as a classroom Earth Day wall.
Learning Benefits
Earth Day coloring pages make big ideas small enough for kids: plant trees, save water and take care of our planet. Each page is tied to one simple action, so after coloring you can pick one thing to do together – plant a seed, turn off the tap or pick up litter.
Age Range
Ages 3-9. Simple globes and plants with room for kids to add their own ideas.
Variations and Extension Ideas
- Plant real seeds in a cup and color the Water the Garden page while you wait.
- Use recycled paper to print the pages – a small Earth Day lesson in itself.
- Make a class pledge banner from the Love Our Planet pages.
- Go on a litter pick and color the Happy Earth page afterwards.
Printing Tips
- Print on US Letter or A4 with "Fit to page" so the border is not cut off.
- For markers or paint, use 24lb paper or light cardstock so colors do not bleed through.
- Choose black & white / grayscale in the print dialog – the pages are pure line art and use very little ink.
- Print double-sided or on the back of scrap paper to match the Earth Day theme.
